A good example of the missing comprehension in technology legal courts have (at least in the U.S. – but i bet it’s the same in Europe), can be found in this judgment by U.S. magistrate judge Jacqueline Chooljian. She really points out that Torrentspy couldn’t attest that it’s impossible to store the content of RAM and therefor provide it as exhibit.
She’s right – it’s not impossible. Though it’s just stupid.
